Immediate dentures are recommended for patients when they are in the process of undergoing dental extractions. Before the extraction, we will take an impression and measurements of your teeth and gums. Once this has been completed, we will work with you on the desired colour, shape, and appearance of your new dentures. We work with your dentist to ensure your dentures are ready before your extraction. This way, after your dental extractions, you can leave the office with a complete set of teeth, allowing you to transition into dentures without the stress of a toothless smile.
Recovery from dental extractions will take a few months to allow the gums to heal correctly, and during this time, your gums will shrink. So, if you notice your dentures are not quite fitting like they used to, please contact our clinic because you will need to have them relined to fit comfortably again.
